Start with the product experience

Describe the product you are developing, how it will be used and the packaging format you have in mind. Include your target capacity and dimensions, and identify any components that need to work together.

A visual reference helps communicate a direction. Add notes about what you like: the silhouette, opening experience, color or finish. Separating these details makes it easier to discuss suitable options.

Make the commercial requirements visible

Share your estimated order quantity, intended market and launch schedule. If you are exploring several configurations, identify the requirements that are essential and the details that can change.

Ask for the selected model, decoration, sampling steps and commercial terms to be confirmed together. Keep the brief updated when the scope changes so everyone is reviewing the same configuration.

Agree on what the sample must answer

List the appearance, assembly and compatibility questions you need to resolve. Share the relevant formula and filling requirements with the people responsible for evaluating them.

Treat the approved sample and written specification as a shared reference. Confirm the next steps before moving from a design direction to production.
