Color, logo, finish: making an existing package your own.
Turn a visual direction into a more useful conversation about color references, artwork and sample approval.

Define a coherent visual direction
Collect the colors, textures and reference images that describe your brand. Explain which details are essential and where you are open to alternatives.
Where possible, provide a physical color reference alongside digital artwork. Ask how the reference will be assessed on the chosen packaging material.
Prepare the artwork for review
Share your logo files and indicate the preferred position, size and orientation. Include any additional text or graphics that belong on the container.
Ask the supplier to review the decoration method and artwork requirements for the selected model. Confirm the available options before finalizing production artwork.
Approve the complete appearance
Review color and decoration together on a sample. Consider how the finish, shape and logo placement work as a whole.
Keep a record of approved artwork and sample revisions so that later discussions refer to the same version.
Bring your packaging brief into focus.
